Allow  God to be God

It’s time for the church to Allow God to be God and not something that we decide He is or was.

  • In reality, what is God, Christ & Holy Spirit to today’s church and Christian’s?

Various Christianity celebrations that we observe today originates in paganism and secularism.

Examples

Easter celebrations as we know them fundamentally originate in paganism.

“The name Easter comes to us from Ostera or Eostre, the Anglo-Saxon goddess of spring, for whom a spring festival was originally held annually.  It is from this pagan festival that some of our Easter customs/traditions have come”.

The Christians custom of shutting of their eyes to pray come from paganism where they Worship the Sun God, etc.

Do your research & you will discover that these events and much more are actual pagan rituals, beliefs, etc. that were just named & makeover to make them acceptable to Christians & made to give the appearance of Christianity.

Easter for the Christians celebrates the Death and Resurrection of Christ, our Lord and Saviour.   God used Jesus’s Death and Resurrection to bring forth a new era and move forward with His plan for the world.

God moved on from the cross, but religion being the biggest problem in today’s churches as it still far too busy at trying to explain away and the watering down the truth of the scriptures, their real values, the miracles, the events of the bible to make the word ineffective.

  • Religion stifles and kills the Anointing and any move of God, whereas true Christianity builds up and sets people free to fulfil God’s call upon the believers.

  • To accept the scriptures as written.

  • Stop finding reasons to decry the biblical truths.

  • Allow God to be God.

We as Christians must start to acknowledge that we are Gods representative, ambassadors, servants and God is NOT our servant.

As leaders we routinely hear the question or enquiry relating to the application of Gods principles and scripture;

“What if it doesn’t Work?”

Answer

WHAT IF IT DOES? ??

10:19-21 Amplified Bible (AMP)

19 Listen carefully: I have given you Authority [that you now possess] to tread on serpents and scorpions, and [the ability to exercise authority] over all the power of the enemy (Satan), and nothing will [in any way] harm you.
20 Nevertheless do not rejoice at this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rejoice that your names are recorded in heaven.”

NB: Make sure that you are a true believer before trying to use the powers & authority of God,
else you may just end up just like the brothers Sceva.
Read Acts 19:14-15.
